M.2 SATA TO SATA ADAPTER CARD
Convert a compatible M.2 NGFF SATA SSD into a standard SATA 7+15 pin, 22-pin drive connection. Use it to access, test, clone, image, or reuse an M.2 SATA SSD through a compatible SATA host or SATA-to-USB adapter.
CHECK THE SSD PROTOCOL FIRST
Supports M.2 SATA protocol SSDs only. A B+M notch pattern does not automatically mean SATA. Some B+M drives use PCIe or NVMe and are not supported. Not intended for M-Key NVMe SSDs, PCIe SSDs, AHCI PCIe SSDs, mSATA, Mini PCIe, M.2 wireless cards, or non-M.2 drives.
SATA-TO-SATA PASS-THROUGH
No adapter driver is required. This adapter changes the physical connection format only, so the host system sees the installed SSD as a standard SATA storage device. It does not convert NVMe to SATA or change SSD performance.
COMMON USES
Access laptop-pulled M.2 SATA SSDs, reuse spare drives, clone or image storage. May be used with a compatible SATA-to-USB adapter, dock, cable, or enclosure. SATA-to-USB hardware is not included.
INSTALLATION NOTES
Power off and discharge static before handling. Insert the SSD into the keyed M.2 connector, align it with the 2230, 2242, 2260, or 2280 mounting point, and secure it with included screw hardware. New SSDs may need initialization and formatting.
