To maintain optimal functionality, the total length of the Ethernet cable connecting the access point to the switch should not exceed 320 feet (100 meters), and the cable must be 26 AWG in gauge. For the connection between the switch and the power injector, using a shielded CAT5e or higher Ethernet cable is essential.
